About us

We are a group of people who decided to stay away from big cities to have a healthier, a more
conscious and a much more simplier way of life.

Because we realized thet we do not need too much to live and so we live in deep contact with the nature, our innate talents, our creativity and strength of will in order to build a better world for all of us where all living beings are respected and the connection with the Divine power is
beyond our ephemeral earthly experience.

We live in an approximately 11 ha area in the south of Minas Gerais State, sorrounded of outstanding waterfalls and building with our own hands a way of life wich certainly could be an idyllic life on earth.

Philosophy

Along with Vrinda Bhumi volunteering design there is a yoga monastery where we practice Vedic philosophy which arose in the ancient India about 5,000 years ago and our root is the Gaudiya Vaisnava school that comes from Bengal.

The Sanskrit root of the word veda means knowledge. Thus, we seek to achieve this knowledge through the study of Vedic literature, such as the Srimad-Bhagavatam and the Bhagavad-Gita, among others. We practice Bhakti Yoga which the is union with the Supreme Lord through devotional service.

Daily lectures are offered by Swami Puri, our spiritual leader. The classes schedule is: 7:00 am to 8:30 am and from 17:00 to 18:30 pm .
